Nestled along the rugged cliffs of the Italian Riviera, these villages offer a feast for the senses—vibrant houses, winding streets, breathtaking vistas, hiking trails, local delicacies, vineyards, and picturesque harbours await.

Day 2
Pietrasanta, Pisa & Lucca
La Spezia - Pietrasanta - Florence. As we bid farewell to La Spezia this morning, we embark on a journey back in time to the era of narrow medieval streets, charming piazzas, and majestic cathedrals. Along the northern Tuscan coast lies the picturesque town of Pietrasanta, affectionately known as the "City of Artists." Renowned for its rich tradition as a hub for sculptors and artists, we have time to explore this captivating destination.
Our next stop is Pisa, famed for its iconic Leaning Tower. There's free time for you to take in this famous building, stroll through the enchanting Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), wander along the banks of the Arno River or explore the Camposanto Monumentale at leisure.
Our final stop today is the enchanting walled city of Lucca. Take a leisurely stroll along the ancient city walls, explore the picturesque Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, or immerse yourself in the beauty of Lucca's splendid churches, like the Cathedral of St. Martin. Then, we make our way to the vibrant city of Florence, where we stay for the next two nights.
Day 3
Exploring Florence
Today we are exploring Florence, with a great mix of included sightseeing and free time. There's an included 2-hour walking tour and then the rest of the day is at leisure for you to explore.
Opt for a visit to the Uffizi Gallery or the Accademia Gallery, where you can marvel at masterpieces by Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, and Michelangelo. Alternatively, grab your camera and meander through the quaint cobblestone streets, capturing snapshots of medieval edifices, hidden squares, and friendly locals.
Day 4
Bologna & Visconti
Florence - Bologna - Visconti - Milan. Today begins with a visit to the captivating city of Bologna, where you'll have ample time to explore and find a restaurant in which to try an authentic pasta Bolognese, right where it all began. There is also time to explore Piazza Maggiore, soaking in the grandeur of architectural marvels like the Basilica di San Petronio and Palazzo Comunale amidst medieval and Renaissance splendour.
After a vibrant morning in Bologna, our journey continues to Grazzano Visconti. This charming medieval village, crafted by Giuseppe Visconti in the 20th century, offers a glimpse into Italian medieval life. Wander through cobblestone streets, admire stone buildings, and marvel at Visconti Castle at the heart of it all.
We arrive back in Milan in the early evening, where our tour ends.
